Adderbury Library is a small, friendly library at the heart of the local community. The library is supported by Focal, in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council, Cherwell District Council and Adderbury Parish Council. Focal is a registered charity (1070930), established in 1997, to prevent library services being lost from our area.

We are  local volunteers, working with the Library manager in running the library for the benefit of everyone in Adderbury and surrounding villages. We provide a full range of library services and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Our library is accessible by wheelchair and very child-friendly.

Why not volunteer at Adderbury Library?  Our volunteers do everything from fundraising to fund Library hours to story times to shelving books. We provide full training and possibilities to take on genuine responsibilities if you are interested. If you have skills you can offer or you want to build on your skills or if you just want to do something really rewarding in a friendly setting, then please come into the library and chat with our volunteers, or contact us via Email using [email protected]. We would love to hear from you!
